Look at the Jordan Almond ovaries,
red firework fallopian tubes.
The uterus, a clutch coin purse.
My insides are not pretty in pink,
like they teach you in school. Anatomy is not
a diagram, femininity not a primrose pin-up.
In truth, my whole body
is a mouth. The slick
interior continuing to my pelvis.
Look at the ovaries like tonsils,
tubes are contorted tongues.
Me, waiting to swallow you whole.
